Students must have completed an aquaponics introductory program before registering for this camp.
CCA and HU will offer a week-long online camp designed to further educate students about aquaponics. Aquaponics is a method of growing plants hydroponically by using wastewater from aquaculture as the source of nutrients. This online camp will expand upon the previous introductory aquaponics camp. Students will do a ‘deeper dive’ into the complexities of biology, plant propagation, chemistry, and engineering design with guided hands-on activities during synchronous online sessions, using password protected Zoom rooms.
